Gettting Rid Of Hazardous Waste….Your Everyday Stuff…Safely

Andy and I were talking about household / hazardous waste this morning on WTRV FM. Some of the most dangerous materials found in our groundwater and landfills comes from our kitchen and garage. You should know household hazardous waste is accepted year round on weekdays at four centers around the county by appointment so that you can drop it off quickly, safely and efficiently. This is done by limiting the number of appointments that can be made for each time segment of a collection day.

Tomorrow, you can get rid of your old paint, ammonia, light bulbs, chlorine, etc with no appointment at the county recycling center on Breton Rd.
