If you turn in a top-five time in either the men’s or women’s competition, you’ll be eligible for a cash prize and a chance to compete in the professional competition.

Other War Birds are expected to fly in as well, along with 3 or 4 home built airplanes. On Saturday morning you can have breakfast at the airport when they have their Pancake Breakfast for $7. Other organizations will be on hand as well including the Young Eagles (giving interested children an opportunity to explore the world of aviation) as well as the West Michigan Aviation Academy.

    The Coopersville Rotary is excited to be sponsoring the 27th Annual Del Shannon Car Show. One of the largest linear car shows in West Michigan. Friday night features an After Cruise Party and a Fried Chicken or Hot Dog Dinner. On Saturday there will be a Pancake Breakfast, an Entertainment Tent and Craft Sale.

BRING: oil based paint & thinner, fertilizers, pool & photo chemicals, bug spray & weed killer, fluorescent tubes & CFL bulbs, cleaners, fire extinguishers, gasoline, antifreeze, motor oil, mercury thermostat & thermometer, aerosol cans.  DO NOT BRING: latex paint, medication, needles, fireworks, ammunition, large propane containers, tires.  Businesses and non-profits are not permitted. All items must be equal to or smaller than a 5 gallon bucket.
