Gerald, a nearly 3-year old Terrier, American Staffordshire/Mix, came visiting and Andy Rent talked about him on his "Andy in the Morning" show for Wet Nose Wednesday.

Heather, from the Humane Society of West Michigan, brought Gerald in to the studios. Of course, he is house trained and neutered, had all of his vaccinations and is ready and waiting for a new home. He is well trained, plays with other dogs very well and would fit any home looking for a loving, active, playful dog.

You can get all the information on Gerald and adopting, by visiting the society's website or call (616) 453-8900.

Heather did mention that they will have new puppies arriving, probably next week.  The Humane Society of West Michigan has partnered with other shelters in southern states that are over loaded and cannot take care of the puppies they have. They are sent to West Michigan, and the Humane Society makes sure they find good homes.  Is yours next?
