Dance Stars Perform With the Grand Rapids Symphony
If you love "Dancing With the Stars" and "So You Think You Can Dance," you'll love the evening of March 27th.
The "Stars" are coming to town.
What fun this is going to be. Edyta Sliwinska and Jonathan Roberts from "Dancing With The Stars;" Randi Lynn Evans, Tadd Gadduang and Legacy from "So You Think You Can Dance," and "American Idol" finalists David Hernandez, Gina Glocksen, Lakisha Jones and Von Smith will join the Grand Rapids Symphony for one night only.
It's called "Ballroom with a Twist," a song-and-dance extravaganza, in DeVos Performance Hall at 7:30 p.m. on March 27.
It will be a fun evening and look like what you see on TV, choreographed by Louis van Amstel from “Dancing With the Stars.”
But “Ballroom With a Twist” won’t be a competition. No dancers will be eliminated from the show. (Maybe some audience members, but that's another story.) It will feature a wide variety of dance Broadway-style show numbers to ballroom dancing, along with a little 'surprise' for the audience.
Tickets are $32-$90. Call Ticketmaster at 800-982-2787.
Here is a "sneak-peak" of "Ballroom With a Twist."
