Quite please, no one speak.  Shhhh!

The Blue Man Group opens Tuesday evening at DeVos Performance Hall for a weeks run as the season kick-off for Broadway Grand Rapids.  And, as you know, they never speak.  Why?  They don't have to.

Since 1990s, the Blue Men have entertained audiences around the world.  They’re bald, with skin painted bright blue and put on a show full of multimedia  and rock music.

The national theater tour also began last year, and features classic Blue Man bits, but mostly material created just for the tour.   It’s the most high-tech Blue Man Group presentation yet, but the overall theme is humorous, critical meta-commentary on the overabundance of technology in modern society.  If The Blue Men were to speak, they would say "we overwhelm you."

It will be a great night at the theater, so time to get your tickets.  Prices are $32-$67 and available at Ticketmaster.com, or at broadwaygrandrapids.com, at DeVos Performance Hall and VanAndel Arena box offices, or by calling 616-235-6285.
