Blitz-Winter, the cat, came calling today.

Blitz-Winter visited with Andy Rent as he talked about him on his Andy in the Morning show for Wet Nose Wednesday.

Tammy, from the Humane Society of West Michigan, brought Blitz into the studios.

Blitz is a 3-month old Domestic medium hair cat, that needs a good, loving home. Blitz-Winter is being spayed today, had all her vaccinations, is micro chipped, and ready to find a new home.

According to the Cat Fanciers Association, if you're looking for a cat that will be a gentle companion, a playmate for your children, and a full-fledged member of the family, look no further than the Domestic Medium Hair. This breed is known for its longevity, robust health, good looks, sweet personality, and amiability with children, dogs, and other pets.

Tammy talked about Olive's Restaurant in East Grand Rapids and a fun event coming up on Wednesday, October 14. From 6 to 10 p.m., the Humane Society will get 20% of all proceeds that evening. So it will be an especially good time for dinner and drinks at Olive's as you also support the Humane Society.

You can get all the information on the Humane Society website or call (616) 453-8900.
