You Can Rent Out Grand Rapids City Pools This Summer for Private Parties
When I was a kid, about the coolest kind of birthday party you could have was a pool party. Makes it kind of tough when you don't have a pool though... well, the City of Grand Rapids has a solution!
Grand Rapids City Pools Available for Private Rental
New this year, all three Grand Rapids City pools are available for private rental for up to 100 people.
According to the GR Parks and Recreation Department, rentals are only available on Sundays from 5:30p.m.to 7:30 p.m. and cost $400 for two hours.
If you're invested in reserving a date, you must do so two weeks in advance.

When do Grand Rapids City Pools Open in 2022?
City of Grand Rapids pools and splash pads open for the summer season June 10 through August 20, 2022.
Pool hours for the 2022 season (outside of private pool rental) are:
- Mondays from 1 to 5 p.m.
- Tuesdays from 1 to 6 p.m.
- Wednesdays through Saturdays from 1 to 8 p.m.
- Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m.

Outside of private parties, admission is $1 for Grand Rapids residents under 17, residents 18 and over are $3. For non-residents under 17 it's $3 and for those over 17, it's $5.
