The West Michigan Whitecaps were supposed to play a Sunday game but were forced to cancel due to a power outage in Comstock Park.

The Whitecaps posted on Twitter that the outage affected the ballpark which posed safety concerns.

Tonight's game has been rescheduled for Monday which means there will be a double header. Game 1 starts at 6pm with gates opening at 4:45pm.

If you can't attend Monday's game you can exchange your ticket for any other home game this season.

The Whitecaps played over the weekend and lost Friday's game 0-1 and won on Saturday 7-3.

According to the Consumers Energy outage map, about 1,500 customers in Comstock Park were affected. The outage was caused by an animal and first reported just after 3 p.m.
