Grand Valley State University's football team is in the NCAA Division II national semifinals against Northwest Missouri State on Saturday, Dec. 14.

See when and where to watch the game.

Some view No. 22 GVSU as the underdog against No. 1 Northwest Missouri State University, but the Lakers have been here before.

Saturday's game will mark the fifth time since 2005 that the two teams have met in the playoffs.

Grand Valley beat the Bearcats in the finals in 2005 and 2006.  The Bearcats beat the Lakers in the semifinals in 2007, then won again in the finals in 2009. Three of the four games were decided by seven points or less.

Saturday's game is at 3:30 p.m. EDT in Maryville, Mo.

To get tickets call 660-562-1212 and ask for the Grand Valley State section. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students and children from age 3 to high school.

The game will be shown on ESPN3. There will also be watch parties around West Michigan, with locations including Main Street Pub in Allendale and Putt Putts in Grand Rapids.

There is plenty of room to get on the GVSU bandwagon. Go Lakers!
