West Michigan Women’s Expo Rolls in This Weekend at DeVos Place

The 17th annual West Michigan Women's Expo at DeVos Place in Grand Rapids is this weekend.

"The Women’s Expo is the equivalent of spring break for women,” said Denise Kolesar, president of Kohler Expos, which puts on the event.

"It’s an opportunity to enjoy a fun-filled weekend with friends, focusing on feeling good and living well."

The Women's Expo's main stage features presentations on refreshing your home with decorating and painting concepts, Pinterest ideas and style must-haves throughout the weekend.

The cooking stage is focusing on families and healthy eating. Presentations are to include freezer-friendly meals, super side dishes, best meal plans for the improved health, the canning diva and the power of whole grains all weekend long.

Open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. EDT Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, tickets are $8 in advance at Meijer stores; or $10 for adults and $8 for 6- to 14-year-old children at the door.

DeVos Place is located at 303 Monroe Avenue NW in downtown Grand Rapids.
