West Michigan Ice Skating Trail, A New Way to Enjoy Winter
West Michigan is full of winter sports opportunities and ice skating is one of the most popular. Some dedicated ice skaters created a new way to enjoy skating.
Try West Michigan's ice skating trail!
The ice skating trail is part of Muskegon Winter Sports Complex.
The trail runs for 1/4 mile. It is open every day from 10:00 a.m. to 9:45 p.m. Of course, that is weather permitting. Check the latest conditions before planning a trip.
Muskegon Winter Sports Complex also has three luge tracks, three ice skating rinks (one for hockey, one for families, one for kids), cross country skiing, and snowshoe trails.
A daily skate pass allows you to enjoy all of the skating options for $5 on weekdays and $10 on Saturdays and Sundays. Skate rental is available for $5. Kids 5 and under are admitted free, but all ages are charged for rental skates.
Our long winters may be cold, but they can be a lot of fun too. Muskegon's ice skating trail is just one of many ways to make sure of that!
