A Kalamazoo, Michigan man named Dana Marshall was trying to do some yard work and learned the hard way that you probably shouldn't start a fire if there is a high wind advisory going on at the same time.

In a video posted online, Dana Marshall shares home security footage of him trying to clean up his back yard and burn some leaves and boxes that were in a pile on the ground.

Dana notices that the wind has kicked up and started pushing the fire through his fence into the neighbor's backyard, which is now starting to flame.

Dana springs into action and starts to hop over the fence to put the fire out.

Unfortunately, he takes a fall while going over the fence.

Dana was able to put out the fire though. When he landed with his back and butt on the ground, it also helped stomp out the fire.

 "I honestly was surprised by how clever and rapid the comments were coming at me as far as just grilling me for my bad decisions," Marshall said. "I mean, it’s just dozens of comments of people being like, 'Dude, what’s wrong with you?"
