Happy Christmas Eve! With tomorrow being Christmas day, I think it would be fun for you and your family to drive/walk, around your or any neighborhood and check out the Christmas lights.

We tend to get so busy and preoccupied with our lives that we forget to pay attention to the simple things around us and in our lives. And this simple thing you can do with your family can be a real bonding experience. Besides, the displays will be beautiful and possibly awe inspiring.

In driving through my neighborhood the other night, and instead of simply driving straight home, I took a mini detour around the streets to capture some of the decorated beauty of the season.

So pretty, fun and most of all, bringing a little fun and joy to the holiday season.

But, the best thing of all happened earlier in the day. I was leaving for the grocery store and drove past this! I had to stop!!

So impressive! Young entrepreneurs setting up shop! In case you can't read the sign, it says "Hot Chocolate Stand!" The temperature outside was a cold at 28 degrees, but there they were, hoping to sell Hot Chocolate! I've stopped at their stand before, in the summer, for Lemonade, and another time for Girl Scout Cookies, but in this 28 degree weather and Hot Chocolate?  I think I see the next Amway in the making.

By the way, the Hot Chocolate WAS hot, and, ohhh, sooo delicious!

Merry Christmas everyone!
