Volunteers Needed to Shovel Snow for Senior Citizens in Grand Rapids

Steepletown Neighborhood Services provides a variety of services in Grand Rapids involving education, workforce development and community empowerment.

Included in those services is snow clearing for senior citizens on the west side of Grand Rapids. More volunteers are needed to meet demand.

Through special funding, Steepletown is able to provide snow removal for 30 households, but more help is needed for the popular service. Volunteers, called Snow Angels, will be matched with a household in need.
