Astronomy Night is tomorrow night, Friday April 20! And, the amazing news is that the weather actually will be great for viewing. So, everyone is invited to the Veen Observatory!
As part of Michigan State University’s Statewide Science Festival, the GRPM and Grand Rapids Amateur Astronomical Association is having  hands-on activities for kids and adults alike with telescope demonstrations tomorrow night at the Veen Observatory.

From 8:30 - 11:30 p.m., observe the moon, Jupiter and other sky objects. The Veen Observatory hosts three large telescopes, including one which can be operated robotically. Portable telescopes will also be set up on the grounds for visitors to use The other good news is that it's FREE to attend!

The Veen Observatory is located at 3308 Kissing Rock Ave SE, Lowell, MI.

The next day, Saturday, April 21, join the GRPM and Grand Rapids Amateur Astronomical Association for International Astronomy Day. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., view the sky through telescopes at the GRPM. Enjoy additional hands-on activities inside the GRPM that are free with general admission!
