Tonight, the red-carpet premiere of "Touchback" is at Celebration Cinema North at 7pm. It also opens at Celebration South and AMC Star on Alpine and at Rivertown.

In case you didn't know, this movie was filmed in Coopersville and GR a few years ago.

The setting of the movie is a small Ohio town where football is a part of life. The star quarterback is seriously injured during a game and gets a chance to "replay" that night when his life changed.

The star player's mentor and coach is played Kurt Russell who called this a "sweet story about small town values."

Need a reference point for how the film feels? The guy who was sports coordinator on the film says "the movie is 'Field Of Dreams' meets 'It's A Wonderful Life' and people will be proud that it filmed in this part of the world."
