Today Is Flag Day! How Can You & Grand Rapids Veterans Celebrate?

June 14th, 2012 is Flag Day, so what does that exactly mean?  This is a little story about Flag Day and the celebration of it started...

June 14th is a big day at the Grand Rapids Home for the Veterans too!  Today is a day when the veterans come out for the Flag Day All Wheels Show from 6pm -8pm.  They like to reminisce when they see some of the old cars they drove around the streets of Grand Rapids when they were young men and women.

Usually a large variety of vehicles show up ranging from classic cars, motorcycles, and trucks. You too can help to make this a memorable day for those who served our country by stopping by as well.  Also if you know of anyone with a classic set of wheels invite them to show of their pride and joy to this group of guys and gals who served proudly!
