Things To Do This Weekend: September 9-11, 2022
We have put together a list of a dozen different events going on this weekend. We have more cultural festivals, baseball, antique engines and tractors, concerts, comedy, a cider fest, and a streetfair.
West Michigan Whitecaps Baseball
The West Michigan Whitecaps are playing at LMCU Ballpark again this weekend. It will be their final regular season games for the year. They will be taking on the Great Lakes Loons. On Thursday it will be Michigan Army National Guard Thrifty Thursday. Friday Night there will be Family Fare Fireworks following the game. Saturday they will be giving out Prospect Series Bobbleheads of Spencer Torkelson. Sunday will be another Helen DeVos Children's Hospital Family Day. Antique Engine and Tractor Show
Thursday, September 8-Sunday, September 11, 2022 - Michigan Flywheelers Museum, South Haven, MI One of the largest shows of its kind in the state, the Antique Engine and Tractor Show features hundreds of old farm machinery, demonstrations, parades, live entertainment, plenty of kids activities and more. Allegan County Fair
Friday, September 9-Saturday, September 17, 2022 - Allegan County Fairgrounds, Allegan, MI This is another of West Michigan's popular county fairs. The Allegan County Fair will feature rides, animals, a demo derby, comedy, concerts, a parade, a professional rodeo, and truck and tractor pulls. Australian Pink Floyd
Friday, September 9, 2022 - 9 pm - Four Winds Casino, New Buffalo, MI Performing the music of Pink Floyd with note for note perfection, this Pink Floyd tribute show has been astonishing audiences worldwide. Friday, September 9, 2022 - 8 pm - Allegan County Fair, Allegan, MI Gabriel Iglesias is one of America’s most successful stand-up comedians performing to sold-out concerts around the world. Grand Valley American Indian Lodge 61st Annual Pow Wow

Kalamazoo Scottish Festival and Highland Games
Saturday, September 10, 2022 - Kindleberger Park, Parchment, MI The Kalamazoo Scottish Festival Association is a local Non Profit organization, dedicated to preserving Scottish history and Culture in the Kalamazoo area. Crane’s Cider Fest 2022
Saturday, September 10, 2022 - Crane’s Restaurant, Pie Pantry & Winery, Fennville, MI Renowned author Jennifer Clark will hold 2 book readings for kids from her children’s book “Oh, What Do You See In Room 21 C?” at the art installation of the SCA in the Walnut Grove. Other features include two bands, food and desserts, ciders and wine, a pie eating contest and hay rides. There is something at Ciderfest for everyone!
