The Oscars are Sunday Night
Yes, the 93rd Academy Awards, Oscars, are this Sunday night. There will be people and stars there, a bit differently, but non the less, it will be a gala affair!
Producers of the awards had to scrambled around the pandemic, and have moved the extravaganza. This year it won't be in the Dolby Theatre, but instead the famous Art Deco/Mission Revival styled Union Station in L.A. And, with double and triple safety protocols in place, and lots of open space, producers feel everyone will be COVID safe. Thus, we should see lots of stars!
Are you rooting for any movie or actor this year? It's been tough with movie theatres not open almost all of last year, so unless you were streaming some of the nominees, it was tough to catch them. And, that is why the academy has opened up the nominations to streaming TV-films, and Netflix is expected to win a bunch.
