A little piece of West Michigan holiday tradition is back thanks to the Gerald R. Ford Museum.  After over 25 years of being displayed during the holidays in the Breton Village Mall, the holiday train display was removed in 2016 when Breton Village was remodeled and became an open air shopping center.

The Ford Museum is displaying the holiday train now through January 5, 2020 and it has even announced that the museum will be free during Christmas Break, December 23, 2019 through January 5, 2020.

In addition to the Breton Village Train exhibit, the museum is also hosting train-themed story time on Friday, December 13th and Friday, January 3rd.  Bring the kids for this free event and enjoy story time, crafts, and activities.  Families that come for story time, are also invited to check out the rest of the museum free of charge.  The story times are at 10:00 am, 10:30 am, and 11:00 am.  You can find out more about it here.
