The City of Parchment, and Cooper Township is advising any resident on the City of Parchment’s water supply system to IMMEDIATELY stop using their water for drinking after high amounts of the chemical PFAS have been found in the water supply of City of Parchment.
“This incident emphasizes the importance of wearing life jackets while boating,” said Lt. Skip Hagy, a DNR regional law supervisor. “Once again, the Great Lakes have proved they are nothing to underestimate, especially on days with high seas.”
