USA Today has named Holland's Tulip Time and Mackinac Island's Lilac Festival among the 20 best flower festivals in the country. Readers can vote for their favorite through March 28. The nominations are part of USA Today’s annual 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards.

With the cold and snow we've been seeing, it's nice to take a moment to look forward to spring and warmer temperatures. One of West Michigan's annual signs of spring is Tulip Time in Holland. Take a minute to enjoy an old Tulip Time video and think warm temperatures.

Tulip Time and the Holland Area Arts Council have teamed up to announce the fifth annual competition to determine the image for the festival’s 2015 poster.

Tulip Time 2014 runs through Saturday, May 10 in Holland. The annual festival has been a big part of West Michigan since 1929. Take time to experience the early years of the festival with some old Tulip Time videos.

Gov. Rick Snyder was in Holland today to help premiere Pure Michigan's newest ad, an advertisement featuring Holland.

It's hard to believe, but Holland's Tulip Time Festival is just around the corner. Tulip Time Festival coordinators have announced their grand marshals for the parades during next month's festival, and this year's list includes many Michiganders' favorite Detroit Lions player in recent years.

We're not even done with summer, but planning for 2014 Tulip Time has already started!

Holy-shmoly...Tulip time is less than a month away.  Where did the time go. Tulip Time in Holland, is one of the top, major festivals in the United State.  Maybe, international, since people do come from around the world.  It's a fabulous gathering in West Michigan.  But it doesn't happen without hundreds of volunteer putting in countless hours making it work.

West Michigan continues to gain national recognition for all we have to offer. Sometimes the recognition given is for something we've known for a long time...this is one of those cases. Holland's Tulip Time has been named among the top flower festivals in the world!

Forget April showers and May flowers. Try February snow and May tulips! We have snow and Holland's Tulip Time Festival is thrilled!
