Tulip Time 2014 runs through Saturday, May 10 in Holland.

The annual festival has been a big part of West Michigan since 1929.

Take time to experience the early years of the festival with some old Tulip Time videos.

This Tulip Time video reminds us of how little things have changed over the years.

"It's Tulip Time in Holland (Two Lips are Calling Me)" was recorded by Harry MacDonough in 1915. Lyrics by Dave Radford with music by Richard A. Whiting.

The song was featured in the Oscar-winning movie "Hello Frisco, Hello" in 1943. It was also featured in the 1948 film, "April Showers".

Whiting is in the Songwriters Hall of Fame. His songs have been recorded by Frank Sinatra, Cher, Bing Crosby, Eric Clapton, Judy Garland, Rod Stewart, Billie Holiday, and many more.

No sound, but a unique video from the 10th anniversary of Tulip Time in 1939.
