One of the world's greatest chefs visited The Tonight Show last night for a cook-off with host Jimmy Fallon. Mario Batali and Jimmy Fallon competed to see who could make a better grilled cheese, and the competition was delicious.
Will Ferrell is no stranger to rivalries, but although the star might be used to coming to blows with John C. Reilly on the big screen (remember 'Step Brothers' and 'Talladega Nights'? yeah, ya do), it seems like he's taking his act to the small screen with a new nemesis. Important question: who among you knew that 'Tonight Show' host and all-around funny guy Jimmy Fallon was also a skilled harmonica player? Has he been doing this for long? Does everyone know about this? Should we have already known about this? Somewhat related: who among you knew that Russell Crowe has a background in fronting badly-named rock bands?
Remember back in 2009 when Jay Leno left "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" for the first time and was replaced with Conan O'Brien?
Then, about six months later after NBC wasn't happy with O'Brien, they got rid of him and brought Leno back?
Of course you do. It was the biggest story in the world for a while.
Just a few weeks' time will see the late night landscape dramatically shift, as 'Late Night' host Jimmy Fallon finally takes the 'Tonight Show' throne from Jay Leno, and 'SNL' veteran Seth Meyers joins 'Late Night' in his wake. Fallon has tapped cinema icon Will Smith and Irish rockers U2 for his inaugural 'Tonight Show' gig, but who will join Seth Meyers on the couch?
