Monday marks the debut of The Rapid's new $39 million Silver Line, which is described as the area's first Bus Rapid Transit (BRT). LiveWalls are living walls containing green plants, most of which are edible. They also help cool the buildings they are attached to, which means they save money and fuel. The newest one is located at The Rapid's Central Station, and is the fourth such wall in Grand Rapids.
