Letters to Santa.  They're mailed out by the thousands, possible millions, by children telling Santa what they want for Christmas.  It's a great tradition for parents to help their children write their letters. But, what about your child GETTING a letter from Santa?

I was just watching The Polar Express and LOVED seeing Herpolsheimer's!  One of the Christmas cards I sent out this year had an oil painting of Herpolsheimer's Department Store all decked out for Christmas time.  Remember???  The huge Christmas tree in the front window...

Next to Santa Claus, children are the stars of the 67th annual Rockford Christmas Parade.   Saturday's event featured many holiday costumed brownie's, girl scouts, cub scouts and boy scouts.  Also featured were the Rockford High School Marching Band, the State Champion Girls Lacrosse team and, of course, Santa Claus.
