Another great year of ArtPrize in Grand Rapids has concluded. Some of this year's artists and entries will be remembered for years to come, just like we remember Mike Simi's "Mr. Weekend" from 2012.
Seungmo Park's "MAYA 7624" is at Kendall College of Art and Design/Fed Galleries @ KCAD for ArtPrize Seven.
It is made out of sheets of stainless steel wire mesh.
The ArtPrize entry is best seen when the viewer moves around to see how it changes at different angles. This video helps to appreciate those changes.
With 1,550 entries at over 160 venues, it's nearly impossible to see everything at ArtPrize Seven.
