My friend down in KZoo, John Mason, would have you think that Kalamazoo is REALLY Beer City USA, through some faulty, beer goggle logic. I have to hand it to him, he really tried to use a legit argument, that whole "Percent By Volume" thing. And, if you were to look at life only as a college freshman, that would be winning math.
The website, Infogroup, looked at metro cities in the U.S. and ranked the top 10 cities for beer and wine. Two cities in Michigan made the top 5 for beer.
There is no college or university in the country that owns a brewery... until now... and it's right here in Grand Rapids!

No, that's not a typo. Grand Rapids did rank among the top 10 in Redfin's "Top 15 City's for Beer Lovers" list; but we only nabbed the No.4 position, not No. 1.
