On the anniversary of the Apollo 1 tragedy, Michigan remembers the hero native who perished in a pre-launch test in a program that eventually put the first man on the moon.

This is the first time in almost a decade that the U.S. will be going to space.

It's really happening for two astronauts who have been in space for the past 7 months.

This might not be the last time we get a peek of Michigan from Grand Rapids native Christina Koch. She is just 1.5 months into an 11-month stay on the International Space Station.

The launch was halted following a booster failure a few minutes after the launch sequence began.
