Michigan State Police say two girls from Berrien County who were the subject of an overnight Amber Alert have been found safe in Colorado, and their father is now in police custody.

UPDATE (1:30pm): The Amber Alert for two-year-old Jarren Jackson has been cancelled. He has been found safe according the the Michigan State Police. The Michigan State Police have issued an Amber Alert for a two-year-old missing out of Washtenaw County.

UPDATE: Amber Rose Smith, the toddler missing from her Newaygo County home has been found safe. She was found by DNR searchers approximately 1 3/4 miles from her home, standing in the woods.

Since the Michigan AMBER Alert program began in Michigan in 2001, 327 alerts have been issued for children. Michigan AMBER Alert Awareness Week provides and opportunity to support the program and review safety tips for kids.

Love these stories that have a happy ending.  We live in a society where our kids are not always safe, even when they are with us.  One mom has nothing but praise for the Gaines Township,  Target employees, who went on high alert after her son went missing from the store.

On the "Andy & Chuck Show" this morning we talked about Facebook and it's unbelievable growth,and, the amazing statistic that 1 out of every 13 people is on Facebook...world wide!  I can't even do the math on that one, so let's just say, THAT IS A LOT OF PEOPLE!
