UPDATE (1:30pm): The Amber Alert for two-year-old Jarren Jackson has been cancelled. He has been found safe according the the Michigan State Police.
The Michigan State Police have issued an Amber Alert for a two-year-old missing out of Washtenaw County.
Since the Michigan AMBER Alert program began in Michigan in 2001, 327 alerts have been issued for children.
Michigan AMBER Alert Awareness Week provides and opportunity to support the program and review safety tips for kids.
Love these stories that have a happy ending. We live in a society where our kids are not always safe, even when they are with us. One mom has nothing but praise for the Gaines Township, Target employees, who went on high alert after her son went missing from the store.
