The College Football Playoff Selection Committee this afternoon announced the inaugural College Football Playoffs field. Selection Sunday put Alabama versus Ohio State and Oregon versus Florida State, with the winners vying for the national championship.

Here is a bit of Sunday morning fun for you, a football game. That's pretty normal, except when it's described by British announcers.  They don't exactly get it.  Enjoy!

  I couldn't watch the game. No, not that I was nervous or anything; OK, a little. But 4 a.m. comes mighty early to do a morning show. So, after watching the first 10 or so minutes, off I trotted to my pillow. I woke up this morning full of hope. Would my mighty Ball State Cardinals finally pull off a bowl win?  Alas, not. It was a crazy and heartbreaking evening for my alma mater's football team.
