One man has died and two others were injured following an officer-involved shooting in Calhoun County north of Battle Creek early Saturday.

Wood TV 8 reports that police were called to a domestic dispute involving a gun near Kimball Ave. in Pennfield Township around 4a.m.

A 46-year-old man had threatened his wife and shot at her with a handgun. She was not injured.

The man then shot at, and injured, his two sons when they tried to stop him.

The sons were taken to Bronson Hospital and are reported to be in stable condition.

While police were in the house looking for other victims, the man fired a shotgun at them. He was then shot and killed by police.

No officers were injured. The Michigan State Police are investigating.
