Squirrel Breaks Into GRPD Squad Car [Photo]

The Grand Rapids Police Department found an unexpected occupant in the back of one of its squad cars the other day.

The GRPD posted a photo on its Facebook page Thursday, that showed a squirrel that had made its way into the car in Eastown. Officers suspect that the squirrel entered though the half-opened rear window of the vehicle.

The department said on their Facebook page that the squirrel was released. I'm guessing no charges are pending.
