Hyperallergic has named their "Top 10 Exhibitions Across the United States" of 2015. SiTE:LAB’s Rumsey Street Project at ArtPrize is in the Top 10.

Kate Gilmore's "Higher Ground" was part of SiTE:LAB's entry at ArtPrize this year. It drew the most attention of any of the entries and it won the Jury Award, but it was just one of many excellent entries at the location.

SiTE:LAB also won the Best Venue at ArtPrize Seven. SiTE:LAB has won Best Venue four out of the five years it has been awarded and was one of five finalists the other year.

SiTE:LAB is a unique venue because their location can change year-to-year.

Hyperallergic named SiTE:LAB's Rumsey Street Project the ninth-best exhibition in the U.S. this year, they said:

It’s easy to do ruined-spaces and abandoned-building art badly, much harder to do it well. Michigan nonprofit SiTE:LAB has become something of a master of the form.

So many of the results were stunning, from Kate Gilmore’s pink performance house to Nick Kline’s striped shrine, to the side-by-side “State of Exception” and Mandy Cano Villalobos installations.

Congratulations to SiTE:LAB for more well-deserved recognition.
