Siphoning Gas From A Police Car? Yeah, Bad Idea.

Yeah, gas is expensive. But so is an attorney to defend you from charges of "theft by unlawful taking."

So here's the story. Some dude in Kentucky was going around siphoning gas from cars. He and his girlfriend thought it would be funny to take gas from a Jenkens, Kentucky police cruiser. Better yet, they thought it would be funny to take a picture of him doing it. And post it on Facebook.

If you've heard the term "loose lips sink ships," then you know where this is going. The picture was posted on his Facebook. It was shared around his circle of friends and eventually made it back to the Jenkens Police Department.

He was arrested, arraigned and released.

Why does it seem like the number of stupid people greatly outweighs the number of smart people?
