Did you catch this on the news the other night? It's a true story of a Michigan woman who ran a red light right in front of a cop, and learned that the best way to get out of a ticket is to nearly choke to death.

The officer pulled the lady over and as he approached the car he noticed that she was clearly choking. Apparently she had been eating a hot dog while she was driving and a chunk became lodged in her throat. So the officer quickly pulled her out of the car and performed the Heimlich maneuver until the hot dog flew out of her throat. The entire emotional scene was caught on the officer's dashboard camera.

She immediately started crying and hugged the officer who is let her off without a ticket and is also being hailed a hero. That's a good cop!
