I don't think anything sinks my heart faster than seeing the flashing lights of a police car following me. Oh, no, here comes a ticket.

You quickly begin thinking, "how can I get out of this. What excuse could I use."

Well, this guy in Florida beat out all excuses I've ever heard. He sang his way out of a ticket.

This is T.J. Bristol, who was stopped for failing to wear a seatbelt in Orange County.

The Orange County Sheriff's department had high praise for their deputies with a very touching story. They wrote:

"A high note for two deputies!
When Corporal Ricks and Deputy Hoagland pulled over a motorist and gospel singer on Sunday for not wearing a seat belt, they got a sincere promise to buckle up and a serenade. For Cpl. Ricks, the musical encounter was therapeutic. The five year anniversary of her husband's line-of-duty murder is Tuesday.
Cpl Ricks is the widow of Deputy First Class Brandon Coates and wants everyone to know "his wife is out there every day, with a smile and still 'making a difference' despite everything going on!"

Wow. What a heart-warming moment.
