Exciting news for all the beauty and makeup lovers... you'll now have even more options to get your favorite products.

A few months ago Sephora announced a new collaboration with Kohl's where they would be adding a mini store inside of the department store. They called it a an "immersive beauty experience" and now they've revealed the first 200 U.S. stores that would be getting this new experience, and that includes several locations in Michigan. Most are on the east side of the state but four in West Michigan appear on the list:

  • Battle Creek: 12765 Harper Village Drive
  • Grand Rapids North: 745 Center Drive NW, Walker
  • Kalamazoo: 6100 S Westnedge Ave., Portage
  • Muskegon: 5695 Harvey St.

According to Kohl's, they're reserving 2,5000 sq. feet of space for Sephora which will be conveniently located at the front when you walk in. Each Sephora will have more than 100 brands available for you to shop, and specially-trained Beauty Advisors will be on hand to help you out. This means that these workers will be separate from Kohl's employees.

The addition of Sephora will pop up at these 200 Kohl's stores beginning this Fall. Kohl's plans on expanding this to 850 stores total by the year 2023. They will begin selling Sephora products on their website this fall, too.

Kohl's Chief Marketing Executive told USA Today that the hope is to attract a new and younger customer base by collaborating with Sephora.

This isn't a new concept, in fact it's a growing trend. Sephora has already been inside JC Penney stores for years, and Target is doing something similar with Ulta Beauty this year. Target also announced last week that they have teamed with Apple to offer more of their products and it's already been rolled out in some stores.

While I am excited about all of these collaborations, this may not be so great on my wallet...
