Did you spot the Road Trip Masters' 1968 gold drop top Cadillac in West Michigan this week? The Discovery Channel show was shooting at the downtown Grand Haven sandwich shop, The Toasted Pickle.

If you're not familiar with Road Trip Masters, two schoolteachers, Nick and Brian, tour small towns throughout the U.S. and give recommendations on where to stay, what to eat, and things to do.

I wonder what other West Michigan businesses will be featured on the episode?!

The Toasted Pickle posted about the visit, saying that they can't reveal yet what was filmed, but as soon as learn the release date of the episode, they'll share it on Facebook.

From the sounds of it, this isn't the Toasted Pickle's first time on TV! Apparently their  Green Goddess sandwich has been featured on The Cooking Channel. They say it's a gooey grilled cheese with their own pesto and goat cheese on toasty sourdough, served with a shot of tomato soup-- YUM!

Have you eaten at the Toasted Pickle? I was in downtown Grand Haven last weekend and I regret not stopping in!  We checked out their menu as walked by though-- and their sandwiches, salads, soups, and snacks looked delicious! I'll definitely have to go back to try the Kickin' Pickle Poppers, which are dill pickle spears and house made pimento cheese sauce wrapped in a thin dough and fried crispy, served with a side of "Kickin' Pickle" sauce.

To get a feel Road Trip Masters, here's a clip they shot in Ashtabula County Ohio, meeting with the owners of Vineyard Woods Premier Lodging, which is within eight miles of 15 different wineries.
