Rick DeVos Announces “Start Garden” Winners

A few weeks ago on The River, we were talking about "START GARDEN" around Grand Rapids.  It's a Rick DeVos project where entrepreneur ideas compete for $5,000 investments

Earlier this week, the first winners were announced.

The winners chosen by the Start Garden team were "Click Plow" and "NxtMile Sport Insoles."  The third idea, "Dirty Water Beer," was chosen by visitors to StartGarden.com.

Since we live in a place where snow is common, the "ClickPlow" idea is great; it's a web product that helps you schedule snow removal!  NxtMile are insoles to reduce injuries in young athletes and Dirty Water Beer uses beer profits to fund fresh water wells in other countries.
