‘Quilt Bash’ Coming to Grand Rapids

Grand Rapids' love of quilts is well-documented and includes a history of success at ArtPrize.

Now, fans of quilting have another event to look forward to as Quilt Bash comes to Grand Rapids.

On Wednesday, August 10, the Grand Rapids Public Museum welcomes the American Quilt Society and all quilters to an evening of quilts at Quilt Bash: An Evening of Fabric & Fashion.

The event will include a special presentation by Edyta Sitar, renowned designer and quilter. Sitar will talk about the relationship between fashion and quilts, including patterns of design, fabric types and more.

Tickets to the event are $25 per person and include hors d’oeuvres and access to Sitar’s presentation which starts at 6PM. A cash bar will be available.
