The storms moving across the United States Thursday are messing with everyone from Oregon to Texas and back to Washington D.C.

President Biden was expected to make his first trip as president to Michigan today to tour the Pfizer plant in the Kalamazoo area, which is leading the charge on vaccines in America and a major player globally. According to WZZM, He, unfortunately, had to postpone his trip a day because of a major winter storm that is currently moving Northeast across the U.S. from Texas to New England, with most of the D.C. area under a winter storm warning. Although Thursday's trip was rescheduled, the Whitehouse made sure to point out how important the trip is for the President who wants to personally thank the employees who have been working nonstop to get the vaccine produced and shipped out a quickly as they can.

WZZM reports that Karine Jean-Pierre, White House Deputy Press Secretary told reporters,

"This is a location right there in Kalamazoo, in Western Michigan, that is key when we're talking about vaccines," says Jean-Pierre. "It sends a message when you see the President of the United States visiting a key, critical vaccination site and taking this incredibly seriously."

President Biden will now be at the Pfizer manufacturing facility tomorrow, Friday, February 19th.
