Hello West Michigan, the regional talent attraction and retention initiative behind West Michigan Intern Connect, is hosting an outdoor movie night and a volunteer service week this June for local interns. The program, now in its second year, is aimed at helping interns connect with the community, their peers and local employers.

The Outdoor Movie Night is on next Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Fifth Third Park. Activities  include networking with local employers, trivia and prizes, local speaker Jessica Ann Tyson, and a screening of the move The Internship on the jumbotron.

Employers are invited to attend where they will be able to network with interns, promote current openings, and connect with new top talent. Some companies participating include Amway, Farmers Insurance, Haworth, Meijer, Mercy Health, Northwestern Mutual, Open Systems Technologies, Perrigo, Spectrum Health, Springthrough, Steelcase, and Uniform Color Company.
