What an amazing trip we had to Italy this year. This was our fourth River-listener vacation and it was a trip of a lifetime.

After a long day of travel to Italy, we finally landed in Florence, and traveled to Montecatini Terme which was our base, so to speak, for the next week.

We stayed in the beautiful Ercolini & Savi hotel, air conditioned, God bless them, and toured all over Tuscany from there. It really made it so enjoyable to be able to return to the same hotel for the week. Unpack once, that's the ticket.

My wife Kathy and I had so much fun with our 30 travelers. It was such a great group that all got along so well. Many were past River travelers and friends, and we made some new friends as well. We'd get together each night on the hotel patio for a drink to talk about our day.
