Thirsty Thursday just got a bit sweeter.

West Michigan brewery, Perrin Brewing Company is debuting its newest release: Pineapple Upside Down IPA,

...incorporating wheat and lactose for a decadent and creamy cake-like mouthfeel, balanced with Sabro and Styrian Cardinal hops, which lend notes of tropical fruit and coconut. The limited release brew was soaked in the flavor equivalent of 500 pineapples to provide the sweet-and-tart citrus punch promised by the name.

Okay, I'm not an IPA fan but this sounds delicious! And not only is the beer packed with pineapples but also a punch at 7% ABV. It will be available at the brewery's pub in Comstock Park on Thursday, 8/1. You can get it on draft and as 6-pack cans. After Thursday it'll be distributed throughout the state.

The Pineapple Upside Down IPA is part of Perrin's "Side Hustle Series" -- one limited edition beer released every other month, only in Michigan. This one marks #4.
