Mobile Exhibit Honoring 9/11 Victims Arrives At Ford Museum In Grand Rapids

A special memorial honoring those who died during the September 11, 2001, attacks arrived in Grand Rapids on Tuesday evening.

A group of Patriot Riders escorted the mobile "9/11 Never Forget" exhibit to the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum. The exhibit will be a part of the annual remembrance ceremonies scheduled for Thursday at the museum. The memorial provides interactive education; including artifacts, news and video recording, and live tours from FDNY heroes. 

The President Ford Council, Boy Scouts of America will lead  the West Michigan community in a day-long “Scout Salute” at the museum on September 11 to pay respect to all those who died during the attacks. The day of remembrance has been held annually from sunrise to sunset since September 11, 2002 at the Ford Museum and has been supported by the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation each year.

The traveling exhibit will be open Wednesday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Thursday, from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
