UPDATE: FOX-17 reports that Jeffery Scarbrough's body was found Tuesday night in the Muskegon River only a few miles from where he was last seen.

Family and friends of Jeffery Scarbrough are asking for the public's help after the 29-year-old man seemingly disappeared on evening of Saturday, May 11, 2019.

Scarbrough is from Grand Haven and was spending the afternoon golfing at Chase Hammond Golf Course in Muskegon's Dalton Township. He was last seen at the golf course around 4:30 p.m. Saturday.

As he was preparing to leave the course, Scarbrough communicated with family members that he was leaving and would be heading to Fruitport, Mich. He has not been seen or heard from since. Family and friends say that it is out of character for Scarbrough to be out of contact/unreachable.
