Michigan’s Adventure Building New Ride [Photos]

Warm temperatures and summer bring many traditions, including relaxing days at the beach and nights by the campfire.

Some summer traditions are a little less relaxing.

Thrill seekers at Michigan's Adventure will be able to enjoy a new ride this summer.

Michigan's Adventure's new ride is called Lakeside Gliders.  It's described as a flying scooter.

Lakeside Gliders is a classic, interactive flying ride which appeals to all ages. Guests will board the flying vehicles and rotate faster and faster fanning out over a large area. The flying vehicles have a stationary rear wing and a moveable front wing which allows the guests to control their flight experience.

Lakeside Gliders will have a height minimum of 44 inches for solo riders and 36 inches for those accompanied by a "responsible person".

The addition of new roller coaster would have been very exciting, but it's still nice to see the park grow with another new ride.
