On Monday, the Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Water sent a tweet about a game that features Kim Kardashian.

The tweet received hundreds of responses, including one from a Michigan congressman who wanted to know what a Kardashian is.

The Hill reports, the automated tweet from the EPA Office of Water said, "I'm now a C-List celebrity in Kim Kardashian: Hollywood. Come join me and become famous too by playing on iPhone!"

The tweet has been deleted, but not before it gained a lot of attention.

Michigan Congressman John Dingell was confused from the start.

The EPA explained the tweet later.

Then Congressman Dingell's staff stepped up to the plate.

Crisis averted for now, but don't we all have those same questions?
