With coronavirus cases continuing to rise in Michigan, Mercy Health is giving people a chance to get tested at their two drive-thru's.

The hospital is offering a drive up service at their Grand Rapids and Muskegon locations.

Designed for patients who are not ill enough to warrant a hospital stay, the drive-thru testing centers provide a safer way to perform the necessary swab to diagnose COVID-19...

Patients will receive results within 24 hours. You must first have an order from your doctor to receive the test.

You can start by taking a virtual screening to see if your symptoms match with COVID-19. From there, you'll be given a referral for a virtual visit with a provider or you may actually be referred to see one in person.

The drive-thru hours are as follows:

Grand Rapids: M-F 8a-5p and Saturday 8a-12p
300 Lafayette Ave. SE

Muskegon: M-F 8a-5p and Saturday 9a-1p
300 Lafayette Ave. SE
